We met at HIMA San Pablo Hospital in Caguas during our medical internships. At first, our relationship was simple and professional: two colleagues who crossed paths in the hallways, shared patients and long shifts, and exchanged quick greetings, without suspecting that life was weaving something deeper.

Our story truly began when we celebrated the end of an important chapter: the completion of our internships and the bar exams. We organized a gathering at home, surrounded by friends and colleagues, and it was there, in a relaxed atmosphere filled with laughter, that we truly connected for the first time. That night, we talked leisurely, laughed, and gradually discovered a genuine, natural connection neither of us expected, yet both felt.

From that moment on, everything flowed naturally. Although life took us down different paths for a while—like when she went to the Dominican Republic to continue her training—distance was never an obstacle. On the contrary, it strengthened us. We visited each other, supported each other, and learned to grow together, even from afar.

From our first kiss, we knew we weren't walking alone. We became a team, life partners, certain that, no matter the challenges, we would always choose each other.
